Day 1 - Leopardstown
Saturday 9 September, The Royal Bahrain Irish Champion Stakes Day
DAY 2
Day two of Irish Champions Festival moves to the historic venue of the Curragh Racecourse. The racecourse has been completely redeveloped and now rivals the best sporting destinations in the world.
As well as top class racing, Sunday at the Curragh also plays host to the return of the much loved, behind the scenes Thoroughbred Trails.
The Parade of Champions in association with Treo Eile will also take place during racing, giving racing fans the opportunity to meet some equine superstars. In addition there will be plenty of other attractions for style followers, courtesy of Weirs, Ireland's premier destination for luxury, watches, jewellery, and gifts and for families with free activities for younger racegoers.
RACING AT THE CURRAGH
The Curragh Racecourse is home to all five Irish Classic races. There are four Group 1 races on the eight-race card, with pride of place going to the Comer Group International Irish St Leger, the final Irish Classic of the season.
Al Basti Equiworld Dubai Flying Five and two of the best juvenile races of the year, the Goffs Vincent O’Brien National Stakes and the Moyglare Stud Stakes will also be featured on the day.
Irish Champions Festival will again attract many of the world’s best racehorses, owners, trainers and jockeys.
