The Curragh
Art Power, trained by Tim Easterby, is active in 2025 with entries including the Group 2 Greenlands Stakes at the Curragh (May 24), the Group 1 Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes at Ascot (June 21), and the Group 1 Flying Five Stakes at The Curragh during Irish Champions Festival (September 14) maintaining top sprint status.
Asfoora, trained by Henry Dwyer, won the Group 3 R N Irwin Stakes and she finished 5th at Royal Ascot in the King Charles III Stakes. She is entered in top sprints at Goodwood’s King George Qatar Stakes, York’s Nunthorpe, and Curragh’s Flying Five in 2025.
Powerful Nation started 2025 strongly, winning the Listed Irish Stallion Farms EBF Midsummer Sprint Stakes over 5f at Cork on yielding ground. He also finished second in the Listed Sole Power Sprint Stakes at Naas over 5f on good ground. A strong contender over 5f, making him one to watch for the Flying Five Stakes at Irish Champions Festival.
Bucanero Fuerte, trained by Adrian Murray, won the Listed Sole Power Sprint Stakes at Naas on May 18, 2025, under jockey David Egan. He is entered in the Group 2 Barberstown Castle Sapphire Stakes at Curragh on July 19, 2025, and the Group 1 Bar One Racing Flying Five Stakes at Curragh on September 14, 2025.
