The Curragh

Art Power

Art Power, trained by Tim Easterby, is active in 2025 with entries including the Phoneix Sprint Stakes at the Curragh (9th August), and the Group 1 Flying Five Stakes at The Curragh during Irish Champions Festival (September 14) maintaining top sprint status.

Asfoora

Trained by Henry Dwyer, has rapidly emerged as one of the most thrilling sprinting fillies in Europe. She announced herself on the big stage by winning the Coolmore Wootton Bassett Nunthorpe Stakes (G1, York), confirming her status as a top-level sprinter. Earlier in the season, she captured the R N Irwin Stakes (G3) and gained valuable experience at the highest level, finishing 5th in the King Charles III Stakes (Royal Ascot) and 7th in the King George Qatar Stakes (G2, Goodwood, August 1). Following her Group 1 triumph at York, Asfoora now has the Flying Five Stakes (G1, Curragh, Irish Champions Festival, 5f) as her new aim, seeking to add a second Group 1 victory to what has already been a fantastic summer campaign. She enters the race with a combination of blistering speed, proven elite-class form, and a fearless racing attitude, making her arguably the most exciting sprinting filly in the world at the moment. Connections are confident she can continue her meteoric rise, aiming to cement her reputation among Europe’s very best sprinters with another Group 1 success at the Curragh.

She's Quality

She’s Quality, a four-year-old filly by Acclamation, trained by Jack Davison, has emerged as one of Ireland’s most exciting sprinters. After a series of near-misses in Group races, including a close second in the Palace House Stakes (G3, Newmarket, May 2025) and the Coral Charge (G3, Sandown, July 2025) and notably second in the King George Qtar Stakes in Goodwood she is now targeting the Flying Five Stakes (G1, 5f) at the Curragh on Irish Champions Festival. Trainer Jack Davison has expressed confidence in her abilities, stating, “We’ve been working towards it all season and I do think she thrives at this time of year which is another positive for a filly, so we’re really looking forward to it.”  With her blend of speed, consistency, and the guidance of an ambitious trainer, She’s Quality is poised to make a significant impact in the Flying Five Stakes, aiming to secure her first Group 1 victory and further establish herself among Europe’s elite sprinters.
