The Curragh Racecourse is home to all five Irish Classic races. There are four Group 1 races on the eight-race card, featuring the Comer Group International Irish St Leger, the final Irish Classic of the season.
Curragh Thoroughbred Trail
On offer last year was a unique package for the Curragh Thoroughbred Trails. It's a great way to start Day 2 of Irish Champions Festival.

parade of champions
Parade of Champions in association with Treo Eile sponsored by Moyglare Stud. Nine legendary racehorses paraded last year at various intervals during the afternoon of Sunday 10th at The Curragh. These featured Aintree Grand National winner TIGER ROLL ; 2012 Irish St Leger winner ROYAL DIAMOND, together with Cheltenham Gold Cup hero, SIZING JOHN, winner of the Irish Thoroughbred Marketing Racehorse to Riding Horse Final at the Dublin Horse Show on August 12th and many more.
Horses paraded last year included: Douvan, Tiger Roll, Sizing John, Exultant, Faugheen, Max Dynamite, Royal Diamond, Snow Falcon and Supasundae.

Last year's stunning Style Awards took place at The Curragh on Sunday 10th September. The lucky winner walked away with an 18k white gold and diamond pendant valued at €5,000 from Weir & Sons. Also, a luxury two-night stay for 2 in a Castle Room at Kilkea Castle, Co. Kildare, complete with breakfast, dinner, golf, spa treatments, and a bottle of Moet Impérial Brut.

Sunday at The Curragh is all about our young racegoers! Get your family ready for a jam-packed day in the Moyglare Kids Zone, filled with a large variety of free kids activities. From face painters and magicians to a pet farm, arts, crafts, and much more. Children under 18 GO FREE when accompanied by an adult.
